First week at home

Leif's first week at home went pretty smoothly, all things considered. So far, he's a pretty good sleeper and rarely gets fussy, which we hope is a sign that he inherited the power sleeper genes from his dad's side of the family, and not just newborn grogginess. We've read that colic doesn't usually start to show up until after kids are 2 weeks old, though, so we're trying not to get our hopes up too much until a bit more time has passed.

We got several deliveries of beautiful flowers to welcome us home from the hospital, and we had a visit from Grandma B. on Wednesday evening after she got back from Buffalo. Other than that, we have been busy getting adept at changing and washing cloth diapers and trying to work out a sleep schedule that leaves both of us reasonably well rested and functional the next day. It is working well so far -- we'll see how it goes once Aaron goes back to work in a couple of weeks!
