Womb with a view

I had heard great things about this type of swaddler called the "Woombie," and since Leif is on the verge of outgrowing his velcro newborn swaddlers that we have been using up to this point, we thought we'd give the "big baby"-sized Woombie a try. It has not had any miraculous effects on his sleep patterns thus far (i.e., he hasn't started sleeping through the night all the time as I had hoped), but he does seem to like it -- the first time we put him in it, he just grinned and grinned! He likes that it is stretchy enough for him to move his arms around, unlike the other swaddler (which is essentially like a little baby straitjacket). In the Woombie, Leif can even put his hands in his mouth if he really puts his mind to it...not to mention it makes him look like an oddly adorable little green worm! How can you not like that?
