Happy Independence Day!

Since Leif is not always a happy camper in crowded, noisy places, we decided to pass on Independence Day parades and fireworks this year. However, Leif he did have a festive outfit to wear proudly all day, courtesy of Granny G. (Thanks, Granny!)


On the night of the 4th, Leif celebrated in a way we very much approved of, by sleeping soundly through the various fireworks displays we could hear from our house and waking up just once overnight. I was happy to celebrate my independence from the 4:00 a.m. feeding, if only for one night!
