We've shot quite a few snippets of video of Leif since he was born, although I have not posted any here until now. Many of them are not all that interesting -- things like minutes on end of tummy time or low-key playing with toys, or me tickling Leif in one of many unsuccessful attempts to get him to laugh. However, it is fun to look back at different videos across time see just how quickly he has grown and changed in the past 4 1/2 months. Below are a selection of short video clips, one for each month during which Leif has been ex utero. Enjoy!
FEBRUARY 2010 - Leif on his first full day outside the womb!
MARCH 2010 - An early attempt at tummy time. Leif is just over 4 weeks old in this video.
APRIL 2010 - Six weeks was a real turning point for Leif; he started to seem more aware and interested in his surroundings. This video shows 7-week-old Leif admiring the little birds, leaves, and butterflies spinning around above his head as he sits in his swing.
MAY 2010 - Three months was another turning point; Leif started to seem more capable of learning new things and interacting with us around this time. He also began his training to become the world's youngest Salvation Army bell ringer.
JUNE 2010 - This video shows Leif rolling onto his side on his 101st day of life (about 3 1/2 months old). It would be another week or two before he fully mastered the art of rolling from back to tummy.
JULY 2010 - At around 4 months, Leif finally figured out (and remembered) how to reach up and grab the froggy on his bouncy chair and pull on it to make it play a song. I'm glad he got it before he outgrew the chair!
