New play mat

Leif has a snazzy new play mat, courtesy of Granny and Grandpaw G. He has been enjoying discovering all the little surprises it has to offer -- so far he is especially fond of the crinkly elephant ear and the crinkly waves. He has yet to discover the hidden squeaky toy inside one of the panels; I'm sure that will provide plenty of excitement once he gets there. Best of all, the play mat fits perfectly on the floor in our kitchen, which means I will be able to keep a closer eye on Leif as he gets more and more mobile!
