Yam I am

Since rice cereal did not seem to be a big hit with Leif the past two weekends, we decided to try some "real" food this time: pureed sweet potatoes (diluted with water). He has had two attempts at eating sweet potato so far, and while more of it definitely ends up on his clothes, chair, and splat mat than makes it into his tummy, we are at least confident that he is swallowing SOME and is enthusiastic about trying. None of the looks of disgust that we got with the rice cereal!
