Scooter

I unfortunately didn't get a good "before" picture to illustrate this fully, but you get the idea from the two pictures below.... Leif is starting to attempt to scoot forward while on his tummy, but so far he has only managed to scoot backward. One minute he was up by the ladybug's head on his little play mat; a minute or two later I noticed he had scooted practically all the way off the back of the mat and onto the hardwood floor. I wonder how many weeks (or months??) it will take him to figure out how to move in the desired direction!
