Bucket o' fun

It's true, the best toys are the simplest toys. A while back, I made Leif what amounts to a really basic shape sorter by cutting a circular hole and a rectangular hole in the cover of an empty ice cream bucket. So far, though, the bucket itself -- particularly the handle -- is what has attracted his attention the most. Within the past couple weeks he has figured out how to dump things out of the bucket, but he is not yet interested in putting anything back inside the bucket once it's empty. Once he gets that part of the puzzle, I foresee many entertaining hours spent dumping and refilling, dumping and refilling, dumping and refilling....
