Grandma jackpot!

On the weekend after Leif's six-month birthday (woo-hoo!!), we had a fun gathering at our house featuring all of Leif's in-town family members as well as several guests from afar: Uncle Erik and cousin Vivian, who were visiting from North Carolina, and Great-Grandma B., who was still here on her visit from Buffalo, New York. Leif had a great time playing with everyone while Aaron and I completed all our final puttering and food preparation, and he remained in remarkably good spirits even as his bedtime approached. It is rare for us to have so many beloved relatives here all at once; we treasured the opportunity to spend a few memorable hours in everyone's company.
