Alphabet play mat

Our ad-hoc living room play mat (a pile of blankets covered by a sheet) was not standing up all that well to Leif's increased mobility, so we recently replaced it with a sturdier and stabler foam play mat featuring the letters A-Z and numbers 0-9. We had debated whether or not to bother getting the "wavy edges" for the mat (sold separately); good thing we did, I guess, since Leif's favorite thing to do with the mat so far is take the wavy edges off and try to eat them! Really, I think he'd take the whole mat apart if he could, but the edges are the easiest thing to remove, so that has been his starting point.


Ahhh, so comfy rolling around the new play mat! (although crawling off onto the hardwood floor is of course fun, too)
