On Sunday, October 3rd, Leif got to cheer on his dad and Granny G. as they ran the Twin Cities Marathon. Aaron was too speedy for us to see him at mile 8 (he had already run past by the time we got there), but we saw Granny G. sprint on by, and then we saw both of them still smiling and running strong at mile 18. We couldn't get over to St. Paul in time to actually see them cross the finish line, but we met them and Auntie Sarah by the capitol afterward for a celebratory photo op.
Congrats to Granny G. on qualifying for Boston once again, to Aaron for coming within a couple minutes of his personal record, and to Auntie Sarah for finishing the 10 mile race that same morning!
Watch out, Leif, the Kissy Monster's going to get you!
