Sitting boy

Soon after figuring out the army crawl, Leif also started sitting up (i.e., getting up from his tummy or his back) on his own, and this quickly became his new favorite trick -- even more than crawling, I think! He needs the proper motivation (such as a cell phone or an empty box) to entice him to crawl a few feet, whereas sitting up is apparently so thrilling that he wants to do it just for the heck of it, all day long...and sometimes in the middle of the night, too.

Note that by this point my cell phone has been replaced by a nonfunctional, ancient "brick"-style phone (with battery removed and sealed with electrical tape) that Leif can bang on the floor as much as he likes!
